Heaven or hell....

Recent conversation:

Me: "Well, I don't think it would be all that grand going to your heaven. I'm not sure I'd want to sit around all day worshipping God."

Other: "So you want to go to hell?"

Me: "Oh, no. I think being in pain and tormented isn't the way to go. However, I think there are other options between the two extremes."

Other: "So you are saying there are places we can't see that the soul might end up in?"

Me: "Or maybe conditions it might end up in. More and more I am thinking that the soul's condition depends more on the time it exists in. If we could just jump the time barriers more often..."

Other: "We'll if that were the case, people would be leaving their bodies all the time to go to different places."

Me: Strangely quiet.

Like you all didn't all ready know that...

Your result for The Attachment Style Test...

The Player

You are most comfortable without close emotional relationships. It is very important to you to feel independent and self-sufficient, and you hate the idea of having to depend on others or having others depend on you. The very few times you have fallen in love, it was probably with someone unattainable and disinterested. You know how to have a good time with your friends, but when it comes time to bare your deeper feelings, you tend to laugh nervously and change the subject.

Fictional character with whom you might identify: Captain Jack Harkness (Doctor Who/Torchwood), Holly Golightly (Breakfast at Tiffany's)

Cooking

This is so easy even I can't mess it up (well at least not NOW I can't...see the bottom of the post):

Mimute Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

2 1/2 c sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened coca powder
1/2 cup of butter
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
3 cups quick oatmeal, uncooked

1. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, coca, butter and milk. Bring to a boil, but only cook it a minute or two. DON'T overcook it.
2. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla, peanut butter and oatmeal, mixing well.
3. Working quickly, drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper. Cool completely.
